See All ReviewsThe best thing about this restaurant was the fantastic service. The waiter was kind, helpful, diligent, and observant of our needs. The food was subpar. It was bland and had a processed quality about it. The biscuits and gravy both tasted like they had come from a store instead of homemade. The pancakes were ok nothing amazing. Honestly the biggest complaint was the chairs. They were so incredibly uncomfortable. Both my husband and I had to sit awkwardly due to the chairs. Our little even had trouble with them. The atmosphere was quiet and calm but not overly kid friendly. The bathroom was so small and inconvenient placed that its a tight fit if your too tall or plus sized. The entire bathroom is the size of a wallmart bathroom stall.
We stopped here looking for home style cooked food, they delivered! The decor is great for the 50s theme and name of this Cafe. We enjoy breakfast here , the biscuits are very good and the Chili ! Everything is made from scratch and you can tell. Services was polite and steady.
Nothing particularly wrong with this place, but nothing really to hype it up for either. Had the chicken fried steak and eggs breakfast. They were good, the home fries were not too good though. Biscuit was tough but the gravy was good. Coffee sat empty a little too long but all in all I would likely stop here again if I was driving by.
